Who You Are
At Scars of Beauty, we welcome everyone affected by breast cancer or the BRCA gene. Whether you’ve undergone a prophylactic mastectomy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, radiation, or chemotherapy, you have a place here. If you’ve experienced aesthetic flat closure (AFC), implants, DIEP flap reconstruction, nipple-sparing techniques, or any other form of reconstruction, we want to celebrate your journey.
We warmly invite individuals of all genders to join us in this empowering journey. If you’re ready to confidently embrace your body and show the world what you are made of—perhaps by wearing your favorite panties with an optional bra—we would absolutely love for you to participate in our inspiring photo shoots, supportive peer groups, or benefit from our specialized breast cancer doula support services. If you’re feeling unsure and would like to observe a shoot before taking the plunge, or if you simply wish to attend an event for the companionship and understanding of fellow survivors, you are genuinely welcomed and encouraged to join us as well.
Our community is all-inclusive, and we embrace everyone with open arms, offering support for each unique story and experience in the spectrum of breast cancer. Join us in celebrating resilience, empowerment, and connection.
